We are seeking an experienced BE/BC interventional cardiologist to join a hospital based cardiology practice to meet the growing patient demand.  We have implemented a comprehensive interventional cardiology program (PCI)  last year in conjunction with the Johns Hopkins AtlanticC-Port clinical trial.  The first year of this program saw 300 diagnostic catheterizationsbetween 2 physicians.  The cardiology department averages 12-13000 EKGS per year 2000 nuclear studies and 2700 2D echocardiograms.  We will be opening our second cardiac catheterization laboratory in the fall of 2011. Ideal candidate will be one of two on-site physicians with additional coverage provided by another group for a call schedule of 1:3. This is an employed position. Candidate should be well trained and ready to apply for or already possess their Pennsylvania state medical license. A minimum of five years experience is needed to be considered for this position. Clean background and excellent communication skills required.
